The Alert Particle is usually a homepage particle, but can be inherited on all Outlines. It allows Parishes to Alert their parishioners of pressing information/events by bringing their attention to the top of the page first. It will pull Articles from a place here module in the modules section.

• The Alert Particle is almost always placed within the Top Section on the Base Outline and inherited by each of the sub-outlines. The Alert Particle uses the 'Module Position' Particle Type.
  

  

• Under the Alert Particle Settings Tab name the position 'Alert' and the Key 'Alert'.
  

  

• Under the Block Settings Tab give the Alert Particle the class 'parish-alert'.
  

  

• The Top Section should be inherited by all Outlines with the 'System Messages' and 'Alert' Particles inside.
